Who will be this year's Grayson or Peachtree Ridge

Every year some team from Gwinnett County seems to come out of the woodwork and be a power not only in Gwinnett but state wide. This year will be no different. Last season Grayson went undefeated and had 3 great playoff games before falling in the semi's to Peachtree Ridge. The Lions also had a great year. They started off 0-2 before making it to the championship game at the Dome. So the question is who will be this year's Rams and Lions? Well my answer is Rams and Lions. Although the other teams are very good this year, which will make the Rams and Lions even better, both will be playing in early December.
Grayson returns a great runningback in Ean Pemberton. They return Shawn Green, Terry Williams and of course a big line. Peachtree Ridge returns a good quarterback and has some equally good skill players coming back and of course two great linebackers that were overshadowed last season in Tanner and Tyler Botts. Brookwood and Parkview have improved but a new trend has come and it's the Rams. Collins Hill, Norcross, Mill Creek and North Gwinnett are all very good but in the end watch for the Lions. Where can you have 8 teams battling for supremecy in one county and then get into the state tournament and it's like playing against lesser teams. This county is so loaded. So watch the others make a good run as well. But as they say to be the man you have to beat the man and right now the man is Grayson and Peachtree Ridge. They'll both be there at the end. You can count on it.

  1. I don't know if I can argue with you about Grayson and P'Ridge. Those 2 teams seem to be the best in Gwinnett county the past couple of years.
